This ORACLE Database 18c Data Guard course introduces delegates to the main architectural concepts of Data Guard.  Delegates will learn how to use Oracle Data Guard to protect Oracle Databases against planned and unplanned downtime.  They will learn how to create and manage physical, logical and snapshot standby databases as well as understanding how to use standby databases in a standby role for reporting, querying and testing purposes.

Prerequisites

A working knowledge of Oracle Database Administration is required. This course is run in a Linux environment and a working knowledge of the LINUX/UNIX operating system is therefore highly recommended.
