Why invest in a Desktop Publishing package?
For small businesses the costs (both in buying and training) and the difficulty in learning a professional desktop publishing package can discourage companies from making the decision to buy. As a consequence many companies (say it very quietly) actually use Microsoft Word to do the job – primarily because they already have it.
Adobe Acrobat XI - out soon
Adobe has just announced the latest release for Acrobat version XI for this month.
The latest version integrates with its cloud services:
- FormsCentral to create, distribute and analyse PDF and online forms
- EchoSign to manage electronic signatures

Updates include:
- much-improved PDF editing tools
- Convert PDF files to editable Microsoft PowerPoint files
