We offer a 1-day MapPoint Introduction course to get you up and running importing and creating map based data reports to analyse information visually. The course will provide you with lots of useful tips and tricks for getting the most out of MapPoint.

Because of the nature of the course we run private company courses only, using your own data.

MapPoint 2010/2011 courses can be run on-site (at your offices) or at our training centres in Harlow, Cambridge, Sunderland or Bicester.

What is MapPoint?
Microsoft MapPoint is business-mapping software that helps visualise data and communicate insights with instant impact. It includes geographic and demographic data that can be overlaid on to street maps to produce bring clarity to tabular data.

Basically it is a street map (like AutoRoute) with data overlays e.g. you could use it to track a fleet of lorries across the country, in real time with GPS, and also tell the driver which route to take to minimise mileage. Or you could use it to decide whether or not to build a new supermarket based on population density and where the nearest other supermarket competitors stores are locally.

You can use MapPoint to print route maps, for fleet-tracking (with GPS), to identify business trends, to create sales territories, to map competitors, evaluate sales by post code, target potential customers etc.
