Below are answers to some of the more common frequently asked questions people ask about our services.You may find it useful to read through them before contacting us.

For Employers

What feedback do we get?

Upon completion of the training we will email relevant details to the course booker i.e. sign in sheet, course evaluations and any general trainer comments that are relevant.

What is the maximum number of delegates on a course?

Our training courses usually have a maximum of 8 delegates. This ensures the optimum balance between effective results and value-for-money. Occasionally we will accept more than 8 delegates at the express wishes of the customer.

What are the training times?

Unless otherwise specified all courses run from 09.30 – 16.30.

There are breaks at 11:00 and 15:00 for 10-15 minutes and lunch is 12:30 – 13:30.

What are your cancellation terms?

Please refer to our standard terms and conditions in the footer on every page.

What do delegates get on the course?

All delegates will receive the following:

• Official Microsoft/Adobe press manual/cd (or equivalent)

• A pen and writing pad

• Refreshment throughout the day, lunch and free parking – if attending a course at one of our training facilities

• Post course support by email for 3 months after the event

• Optional – a certificate of attendance

What are standard courses?

Standard courses are delivered ‘as is’ based upon the contents listed in the course outline.

Can we customise courses?

Yes. The majority of training we provide is tailored to a client’s specific requirements. It’s very easy – you tell us what you want us to cover and that’s it done! Tailoring courses to the needs of your organisation means that your employees will learn precisely what you need in order to do their job more proficiently and in turn become more productive.

Unlike other training companies we do not charge for tailoring content!

For Employees

I’m not sure what course I should take?

This question is asked by many people, especially those who are self-taught. To make life easy we have developed a free to use Training Needs Analysis tool for Microsoft Office products. Simply answer the questions truthfully and the tool will recommend which course you should attend.

What do I need to bring on the day?

Just your enthusiasm and a willingness to actively participate during the day. We supply the computer, pens and writing pads. Oh and one last thing – please arrive on time!

On-Site Courses

How do I organise onsite training?

Just contact us with the following details:

• What course you want (or what content you want covered if you want a customised course)

• How many delegates need the training

• General timescales or specific dates when would prefer the training to take place

How quickly can I arrange onsite training?

Generally this can be done very quickly, we can usually deliver the course within 10 days of the initial enquiry.

What do we need to use your mobile classroom?

To run a course on-site, using your mobile laptop classroom all we need is the following:

• A suitable boardroom or meeting room capable of hosting up to 9 people (1 trainer and 8 delegates comfortably)

• White board / flip chart

• A projector – optional as we can provide one

Can you use our training facilities?

To run a course on-site, using your training facilities, you will need the following:

• A suitable boardroom or meeting room capable of hosting up to 9 people (1 trainer and 8 delegates comfortably)

• A fully configured PC or laptop for every delegate

• A projector, white board / flip chart

The Booking Process

How do I book a place on a training course?

Call us to check the availability and pricing of your chosen course initially. We will then email a Course Booking Form which is valid for seven days. This document must be completed (PO number, signature and dates) by an authorised person and returned via fax or email or post. We cannot confirm delegate places until our receipt of a signed booking form.

How do I know if I have been accepted on a course?

Once we have received a duly completed Booking Form your place is confirmed. We issue course joining instructions approximately 3 weeks prior to course commencement.

Can I substitute delegates?

Yes. You can substitute delegates at any time provided they have met the course pre-requisites. There is no charge for this.

Payment Information

How much do courses cost?

For public scheduled courses the price is as listed (per person + vat). We have special rates for charitable institutions and the public sector.

How much does onsite training cost?

For private courses we use a matrix based upon the number of delegates and the technology. We have special rates for charitable institutions and for the public sector.

Note: Additional charges may apply e.g. mileage (charged at 50p per mile), train/plane fares, hotel and subsistence.

All courses are subject to VAT at the current prevailing rate.

How can I pay for training/consultancy?

We accept company purchase orders and cash only. Normally we will invoice your company a few days prior to the commencement of a course or development project.

Can private individuals buy courses?

No. We are strictly business to business. However we do offer cost effective eLearning solutions, from as little as £6.99 per title, via our dedicated official Microsoft Online Learning website.
