Adobe Photoshop is image (pictures/graphics) editing software. It allows users to create images from scratch as well as being able to edit existing pictures say taken on a digital camera. It has a myriad of styles and effects that can be applied to enhance or alter an image.
Its main uses are for photograph manipulation; painting and drawing; graphic design, illustration and web graphics and images. Its most commonly know usage is the alteration of images for magazine shots (chop, crop and airbrush out those unwanted imperfections!).
