Overview

This course is designed to provide an introduction to the power of HTML, or HyperText Markup Language, the language behind most web pages.  Once you know the basic rules of HTML and a few HTML tags, you can begin developing a web page — formatting text, adding images and links.  You will learn the concepts and skills to use HTML coding for web design, and then move onto more complex XHTML and CSS fundamentals.

Course Objectives

At the end of this course, delegates will be able to gain an understanding of the major components of HTML/XHTML/CCS to be able to create and edit web pages, to be able to transfer files from their local computer to a remote computer and vice versa (FTP), use input forms and calendars, use multicolumn layout, menu skins, backgrounds and positioning to create a better design.

Prerequisites

No knowledge is assumed however it would be useful to have knowledge of web terminology.
